Hasselt, Belgium-based pro-audio distributor PVS nv recently supplied an extensive selection of equipment from manufacturers including Inter-m, Audac, Uniton and BSS Audio for installation at Nike’s distribution centre in Laakdal, Belgium. The equipment was selected to satisfy the venue’s background music, paging and evacuation messaging requirements, writes David Davies. more |

Together with AUDAC, a brand-new ‘sound slope’ was realised at the Planai & Hochwurzen ski domain in Austria. To provide the new 600 meter ski run with the appropriate audio equipment, Planai appealed to our Austrian importer Studer to deliver speakers that could endure the Antarctic temperatures while projecting high-quality sound. more

In Ghent, the new parking lot Ramen was officially opened. This former aboveground parking lot was replaced by an underground one, which accommodates 280 cars, 173 more than the previous one. Ramen is mainly reserved for season-ticket holders and has 6 ‘split’-floors. Because of the small surface area, the difference in height was set at half a floor. This parking lot was part of a project, including aboveground houses and offices. more |
